Dinner by Melissa Clark was an interesting book to get for review. Dinner by Melissa Clark was a well organized cookbook that gave me some new ideas for dinner. There were a few recipes that I altered a bit of did together and it came out pretty good! All in all I was happy to get Dinner by Melissa Clark

Iris Marie Mack, PhD, EMBA, earned a doctorate in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University. She was also awarded a Sloan Fellowship Executive MBA from the London Business School. Dr. Mack worked at various energy and financial institutions, acted as a faculty member at MIT, and worked at NASA and AT&T Bell Labs – where she obtained a patent for research on optical fibers.

My Review
Starting Over on Blackberry Lane was an enjoyable read I have to say out of the tree main female characters Stefanie Stahl was my favorite because her husband reminded me a lot of my own father who is always willing to agree to do a home project, but then the supplies just sort of sit around for a while until he either would decide to it or my mother would step in a steal the project. So I can understand her felling about just wanting a project to be finished with in a reasonable amount of time. The book itself was really well written and I liked how the three women teamed up to outbid others in order to fix up their homes and their lives.

My Review
I have to say I love a book whose title has an "aha moment". The moment for Alan 2 is when AI scientist, Dr. Alan Boyd names his AI Alan 2. What could have been a science fiction novel quickly becomes something of an action, espionage, thriller novel as the Doctor and his female companion follow Alan 2's advice for not only making money, but then escaping prosecution through a string of location changes and other actions. The way this book really when more in-depth with the AI concept was very interesting to me and I greatly enjoyed it. I am glad I took the time to read Alan 2.

of adults who enjoy thriller fiction with a focus on terrorism. Defender by Mr.
Travis Logan Salisbury and Ms. Janet Claire Smyth follows Kate Greenwood and Agent
Gareth Dru McFadyn. Kate Greenwood is a college professor who finds a battered Agent
Gareth Dru McFadyn on the side of the road. This one discovery leads to a partnership
between the two as the come to discover their compatibility amidst the terror
and fear caused by Klaus Vogle.
Move over Bluebloods, 24, Blacklist, and Criminal Minds and
make room for Defender! Defender is a well-written and well-researched novel
that is very difficult to stick in just on genre as it has a mix of genres
inside of it. I personally found the plot line and the characters to be all
well developed. I personally found Kate Greenwood to be my favorite character.
It is hard not to like a woman who is willing to help someone stranded and
injured on the side of the road without a clue of who he is. I really enjoyed
Kate’s interactions with Gareth and I enjoyed watching their relationship develop
and evolve over the course of the book. I also really liked the fact that the
authors were donating 10% of the proceeds to ovarian cancer research and patient
malpractice advocacy. Overall, I greatly enjoyed reading about Kate Greenwood
and Agent Gareth Dru McFadyn and I hope the authors decided to write a follow
up novel.

Roadfood
Talk about Boring! The entire book is in black and white print with very small font. The only picture shows the states that each section focuses on. The book is then organized into section by direction and then state. Each state has the places listed in alphabetical order using the restaurant name. It would have been so much better to organize by city or county. I do NOT recommend this book.
Cassia by Lanette Kauten
Cassia by Lanette Kauten follows reporter Tanya Falgoust in Deep Ellum as she works hard to achieve her dream of acceptance in the underground arts district. Tanya Falgoust might live among those who call the underground art district home, but that does not mean they accept her as one of them. Her dream of acceptance may become a reality when she meets a performance artist, with a hidden past, who only goes by Cassia. When the two get together sparks fly and it is not long until they find themselves romantically entangled, yet the question remains who is Casais?
Cassia by Lanette Kauten is a well-written novel that includes elements of romance, mystery, and suspense in its plot. It is clear that Lanette Kauten spent a lot of time and effort in writing this novel with its well-developed characters, masterfully described settings, and beautifully turbulent romance. My favorite character by far was Cassia; I just love her air of mystery and the secrets that caused her to desire to hide who she really is. While Cassia is my favorite character, my favorite moment in the book would have to be where Tanya realizes that she should have taken her friends warning about Cassia seriously. This was my favorite part because I felt like Lanette Kauten put real emotion into it as I could really understand and sympathize with Tanyas feelings. Overall, I really enjoyed reading Cassia and I hope that Lanette Kauten decides to write a sequel!
