The Sunwright Chronicles: A New World was filled with many different characters like Paris Sunwright, Suadela Sunwright, Calia Sunwright, Tobias & Jaedus Sunwright, and Pershing Sunwright. Jaedus Sunwright became my favorite character with how Jaedue developed from struggling to control the power to understanding it and using it for the good of others. Overall, this was an awesome fantasy book that took many common fantasy elements and used them in unique ways.Thursday, June 28, 2018

Meet the Authors
When Lydia and Santina were 14 years old they noticed they were starting to forget the stories, the characters and the families they had made up and they didn’t want to forget, they wanted to always remember the adventures they went on when they played, pretending they were witches who lived in a magical place. The twins decided to put down all their adventures they had had, all the characters and the families they had made up on paper so they would always remember them.
While writing their book they were suddenly aware that they had a passion for it, and realized they didn’t want their stories to be hidden, to just be shared between themselves. They wanted to share the families they had created, the adventures, the characters with the world. The twins wanted to share their love of writing, their magic and write for a living.
Lydia and Santina worked on their first novel (The Dawsons) for ten years, adding to the story, maturing and professionalizing it, editing it and trying their best to make it as perfect as a manuscript can be before they approached the self-publishing company Xlibris in October 2016. The twins knew that self-publishing a book is not cheap so they saved up for years, working at Gloss Cosmetics, Coles, etc. to earn the money that would help them to publish their first novel.
Lydia and Santina’s book “The Dawsons” was finally self-published with Xlibris Publishing in April 2017. The twins went through a crazy, exhilarating ride making their book a reality, and haven’t regretted taking all the nerve-racking risks in the hopes of being successful. They have been trying to get as many people as possible to know about their book, contacting radio and television stations, bookstores, newspapers and social media in the hopes that their dreams will come true.
The twins are now 24 years old and are living on the Central Coast, New South Wales. Lydia is currently working on the second installment to The Dawsons. She is also working on the first novel by contacting anyone she can to popularize their book. Santina helps Lydia with the marketing of The Dawsons whenever she can.

My Review
Supernatural fiction is one of my favorite genres so this book was right up my alley. Derrick Dawson easily became my favorite character with how he raised his siblings after his parents died. The story was well thought out and everything came together in a way that made sense. I would love to see more supernatural fiction from this author in the future!

BOOK BLURB:
This is a book about love: hunting it, chasing it, losing it, tripping, and falling into it.And yes, it’s a book about sex: hunting it, chasing it, losing it, tripping from it, and falling onto…ahem…it.
But more than anything, it’s a book about self-discovery, navigating the learning curve of adulting, and learning the kind of tough lessons that only come when you have to pick yourself off the floor, block a guy’s phone number (for the second time), and clean some curious stains off your dress.
I dove headfirst into love and sex, and for better or worse, they have taught me that sometimes you just need to try the world on for size to really understand what it is you want and learn who you are. So here’s my experience in the world of men.

Dax Marie was five or so, when the man that she would otherwise call,
“father” gave Dax her issues. What’s the medical terminology for that?
Oh, Daddy Issues! For nearly the whole of her life she has tried to deny
this grave medical condition and up until about seven years ago, she
was doing alright. By no means was she swimming through the world with
ease, but she did like aight (that’s hood talk for alright).
It was not until sometime in high school when she discovered her self-diagnosed condition. Sigmund Freud (you may have heard of him, he’s like a coke-head genius) told Dax (in a text book) that she has Penis Envy. Poor thing, she was absolutely flabbergasted!
“Me, Dax Marie? Associated with male genitalia?” She thought to herself.
So, it was then and there, her junior year of high school that she knew what
she was destined for…MEN.
Dax’s latest book is the memoir, Conch Shell Confessions.

My Review
I thought that Conch Shell Confessions was going to be a romance type book so I found myself rather surprised when I read it as it was more of a memoir of the author's experiences with Love and Sex. I was a bit put off my how frank that author was with some of the content, but at the same time I ended up feeling like I had to keep reading to know how it all ended.

My Review
Monsterland Reanimated was just as good as the first book in the series if not better! It reminded me a bit of Jurassic Park, but with monsters instead of dinosaurs. I loved how the book really went into how the world changed based on the park's collapse as the Jurassic Park movies generally do not touch the world effect at all. This book was a great read and I loved Wyatt even more in this book!
The chronicles of eledon
About the Series
Eledon, the world of the Elves, is doomed unless someone can find out what is causing it to break apart. For over a thousand years, a rogue island threatens to pull the rest of the world through an entry point to a wormhole, destroying it and the mortal world known as Earth. The task falls to Alex, a young woman born on the island, to find a solution. Her magical power is tested in the first book of the series, “Spell Breaker,” where she must remove the storms that surround the island to allow for migration to the rest of Eledon, the only place where the problem can be fixed. There, her youthful enthusiasm results in additional complications as she fears for her life and retreats to the mortal world through an entry point for a new start. In the second book, “The Blue Witch,” Alex meets King Arthur and joins the search for the Holy Grail, looking in Eledon, where no one else has looked before, only to find her return to the mortal world blocked. The third book, “Gossamer,” leads Alex one step closer to solving the problem with the island, but she doesn’t know it, until she resolves it in the fourth book, “Noble Magic.” Once the crisis is averted, all she needs to do is resolve the problems between the Elves and there could be peace in Eledon…maybe.

My Review
I recently read SPELL BREAKER, however I have read the rest of the series previously so make sure to check out those reviews! I personally found SPELL BREAKER to be an enjoyable read that was a good fit for the rest of the series and it filled in some of my blank spots in what happened in the series to cause certain events to unfold. I enjoyed the characters as they continued to grow and the author truly did a wonderful job with this series!

My Review
I really liked that the two main characters met at the Jersey shore as that is the area that I spent my childhood and it was really cool to see WHAT HAPPENS IN SUMMER feature that area. I found the story to be sweet and I liked that it was not a predictable or fake feeling romance. Instead, this book had a realistic feel to the love between the two characters!Tuesday, June 12, 2018

My Review
ICE by Lauren Carr was a well written book and a well narrated audio book that I greatly enjoyed. The narrator did a wonderful job in bringing the characters to life for me and Lauren did a wonderful job in writing them. I found the story itself to be interesting and it fits perfectly with a lot of the author's other books. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading books by this author as well as anyone who enjoys seeing a cold case solved!

Book Description:
Do the vast amounts of information and technology available hold humans hostage? Does analog communication create a vulnerability?
The political climate in the world is unnerving. North Korea is running missile tests, but where are they getting their deadly supplies? Meanwhile, terrorists are hiding in plain sight, using American technology that is out on display in libraries and museums for the world to see, but are using analog methods to gather and assemble their information. No internet searches equal no red flags which lets the bad guys believe they are operating undetected. But the Cyber Assassin Technology Services (CATS) team is on the job. As Juan and Julie RodrÃguez send their operatives out across the globe to track down these foot soldiers also known as Analog Information Mules, they'll discover the horrible potential treats, and learn about each other along the way.
Mike and Marge control ePETRO, an oil shipping business with offices in London and New York, but they don't have the same business goals in mind. Marge intends to sell the North Koreans uranium in addition to oil obtained illegally from the government sanctioned Middle East. But Mike may have other plans, mainly, keeping the profits of these sales for himself. Then there is the mysterious Steven Christopher, who oversees the AIMs, and is working several angles behind the scenes. Steven is the only one trusted by both Marge and Mike, but why?
The CATs team has feet on the ground, with Ernesto and Tyler following two women through Washington, D.C. as they visit the Smithsonian looking for nuclear fusion processes and down the Texas coast where a dangerous package makes its way onto a ship bound for Asia. Jamie, an Irish man with a heartbreaking past, joins the team in Texas and finds not only a new job, but acceptance. George and Summit travel across Asia following the oil and some suspiciously mislabeled furniture. After a rocky start at being paired up, Mercedes and Brayson head to Panama and are watching a previously known Dark Net data center, but Mercedes is soon extracted to help out in D.C. She quickly becomes embroiled in Steven Christopher's world. Brayson is left behind alone in Panama and, still recovering from a lost love, learns that he can't truly be a part of the team until he has forgiven himself.
While Juan stays with Quip and his supercomputer ICABOD, tracking his team members and relaying constantly updated information at the team's nerve center, Julie heads to London. Julie finds herself in the center of all the trouble as she goes undercover in the ePETRO offices. When Julie disappears, Juan drops everything to find her. Quip loops his wife EZ, a Unified Communications expert, to help monitor and control the CATS team movements so that operatives can find the culprits in their different theaters of operation.
Award winning authors, Breakfield and Burkey, take readers on a new techno thriller adventure with their 9th book in The Enigma Series. The Enigma Dragon is chilling journey across four continents, and twelve cities that uncovers terrifying possibilities of what is to become of our world if the CATS team cannot defeat our enemies.
