Review
I have to say this type of book is not normally my cup of tea. I tend to prefer the book about cops, agents, and people of action. However I could not help, but be pulled in to this story as I read more and more of it. The author is a master story crafter whose style of writing just keeps pulling you deeper and deeper into the story until SUPRISE its the end of the book. I was left feeling like I wanted to seek out more of the book written by this author. I truly enjoyed the storyling and I liked the modern setting of the book. Overall I enjoyed this book and I would recommend it to Christian readers who enjoy stories involving drama and law practices. I was sent this book for free for only my honest and unbiased review.

Best ways to look Tan without the Risk of getting Burnt

Review

I personally am not a fan of most sunscreens because they are oily and greasy. They normally leave my skin feeling sticky and wet for a good five to ten minutes before I get used to it. This sunscreen does not do any of them it is a nice light blend without any grease or stickiness.  I feel comfortable using it because it is cruelty free. I used this before I went to my neighborhood pool to read in the sun and it kept me both comfortable and burn free. I have to say I have never found a sunscreen as nice as this.

Directions:

▪ Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure ▪ Reapply at least every 2 hours

I was sent the Suncreen "Protectan": Innovative Moisturizer Daily Sunblock with Broad Spectrum Formula Uv (Wider Protection Against UVA & UVB Rays!) SPF 30 from Thermalabs for free for only my honest and unbiased review of the item.

Review

The Suncreen "Protectan": Innovative Moisturizer Daily Sunblock with Broad Spectrum Formula Uv (Wider Protection Against UVA & UVB Rays!) SPF 30 offers protection from the sun and kept me burn free. These self tan towelettes made me actually look like I was sitting in the sun. Say goodbye to pale skin with these awesome easy to use towelettes. The box came with 20 individually packaged towelettes. Each one tanned my skin without leaving any steaks like spray on tanner sometimes does.  I personally did two applications a week. Before I would get dressed for the day I would tan with these then I would apply my makeup, brush my teeth, and do my hair then I would get dressed. It is important to note you should wait 10 minutes before putting clothing on. This would make a great gift item for anyone who enjoy looking tan.
I was sent the  Self Tan Towelettes | Self Tanner Sunless Tanning Half Body Wipes | Application Towels from Thermalabs for free for only my honest and unbiased review of the item.

Directions

For young Lady Guinevere, on the advent of her thirteenth Birth Day, the whole idea is quite unbearable. After all, what could be better than spending her youth playing with her best friend Cedwyn, roaming the grounds around the castle looking for mythical creatures or hunting rabbits? However, the wizard Merlyn--her teacher and friend--knows that destiny has a way of catching up with a person. His arrival sets in motion a series of events that will lead Guinevere to her destiny whether she is ready for it or not.

Excerpts From Reviews

The King's Ransom:
"Cheryl Carpinello's middle grade adventure novel, featuring a visit from King Arthur and a few of his knights, is a wonderful introduction ~ to King Arthur, and to the lives of knights and others in a castle."
"I do wish the story had been a little longer, but as this book is aimed at a younger reader with a shorter attention span, I can understand why it was not."
"It's a great story about loyalty, friendship and overcoming obstacles."
"This was a delightful rollercoaster of a read, taking us on a journey with each of the characters. There were moments of great sadness, where I felt so wholeheartedly for the characters and their situations."
Guinevere: On the Eve of Legend:
I read this book to my son and daughter and they both loved it. It was a fast-paced book with a lot of excitement.”
“Will appeal to middle school aged readers, especially girls but boys too, who can relate to the idea of wanting independence yet struggling with the obligations that come with it.”
“Wizards, unicorns, and dragons are a few of the mythical creatures you will encounter in this enchanting book.”
“It is interesting and filled with enough Arthurian legend to keep young readers entertained. The questions at the end are great for comprehension and give the readers a chance to discuss their own take on the story.”

Unlocking Worlds: A Reading Companion for Book LoversUnlocking Worlds: A Reading Companion for Book Lovers by Sally Allen
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

At first glance you might just think that this is a glorified reading list, which would be so WRONG. This book is so much more while it does suggest many books it gives the author's feeling, thoughts, and likes/dislikes for the book without giving away the plot. The author Sally Allen also offers suggestions for other things book readers might enjoy doing like rereading a childhood favorite as an adult to see what you might have missed as a child, rereading a favorite section of a book, attending author events, and listening to books.

Ditching the Drive-ThruDitching the Drive-Thru by J. Natalie Winch
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have to say first off I loved the voice the author used as she wrote this. I was somewhat expecting this to be dry and boring, but reads more like a journals than a textbook or research article. The author provided all the information in a straight forward manner that made a lot of sense to me. I don't really do drive-thru that much, but I do eat a lot of frozen meals. I plan to now cut back on those and try to make more meals from scratch. I plan to make extras when I cook and freeze them so that I can still have frozen meals, but they will be healthy ones. The Longevity Kitchen: Satisfying, Big-Flavor Recipes Featuring the Top 16 Age-Busting Power FoodsThe Longevity Kitchen: Satisfying, Big-Flavor Recipes Featuring the Top 16 Age-Busting Power Foods by Rebecca Katz
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

The recipes in this book feature superfoods as main ingredients. Some of the superfood are: asparagus, basil, coffee, dark chocolate, kale, olive oil, sweet potatoes, and wild salmon. I enjoyed this book because it laid the recipes out for the reader to find in the table of contents. However this book does take up a LOT of space on the aspects of healthy living, cooking, and superfoods. I personally prefer it when a cookbook is just a cookbook. Not a textbook or a teaching manual as well. However if you can wade through the recipes really are great.

A Tale of Two School Principals by Dr Chris Bart

A Tale of Two School PrincipalsA Tale of Two School Principals by Dr Chris Bart
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

“A Tale of Two School Principals: And the Superintendent Who Wanted to Lead Them” by Dr. Chris Bart and Margot Trevelyan is written a bit like a story. However unlike a story it actually provide answers and advice to those in leadership roles in schools. I am currently a psychology student and a school counselor so I found this book to be particularly interesting. I have already decided to mention it to a few of the people that I know at work. I believe that this book would truly benefit those in leadership roles as it would teach them to be better leaders. My favorite aspect of “A Tale of Two School Principals: And the Superintendent Who Wanted to Lead Them” was the fact that it was told like a story. I really liked this as it made the book interesting to read and it made me want to keep reading not just to learn more, but to find out the ending of the story.

For looking like you have been accutally reading outside

Best Organic Sunless Tanning Lotion and Tanner Body Bronzer (Xl Bonus Size 250ml 8.5oz) Instead of Spray Use Our Flawless Tan Formula for Face and Body
I enjoy spending time outside, however due to a family history of skin cancer my family is constantly on me to use sunscreen. Now I have no problem using sunscreen, but I do like to actually get tan. I love sitting outside at my neighborhood's clubhouse with a good book in the sun. However for all the hours I have spent outside my skin was still pale looking. This self tanner has suited my needs wonderfully. I just exfoliate my skin with my sugar scrub then I wash my hands and then apply the tanner to my skin. This self tanner has a nice feel to it, so many of them are thin and watery, but this one actually has substance to it. I have been using this for three days so far and I finally look like I have spent a few hours outside everyday. No more pale skin for me!
I loved the applicator bottle with is a pump instead of a flip lid. It makes it ease to get just the right amount in my hand so that I don't use too much or too little. I have been very pleased with this self tanner and I would definitely get a second bottle. I was sent this item for free for only my honest and unbiased review of the item.

The Buzz About the Books

Book 1: "Well-written, fast-paced, and entirely appropriate for its target audience (middle grade fantasy), this short but succinct novel (novella? It was maybe a little between a novella and a novel) tells a delightful tale of a naive princess who learns the real meaning of freedom. Kirsten gives her characters a sufficient amount of depth to make them genuinely likeable, and she leaves room for much, much more to come." ~ 5 Star Review, Ally, Amazon
Book 1: "An inspiring thought provoking, and wonderfully written fairy tale by an author who transports us to a time in our imagination where everything is magical and possibilities are real." ~ 5 Star Review, kathyls, Amazon
Book 2: "Fairy tales are filled with knights and princesses and castles and a special magical feel that takes the reader far, far, away into another world, another place, another time. The Battle for Princess Madeline fits the bill to a tee! Author Kirstin Pulioff has created a special feel to the tale of Princess Madeline with her own special talent for using words to paint pictures in our minds." ~ 5 Star Review, Dii, Amazon
Book 2: "The story is well developed and easy to follow. The vivid scenes will transport young readers into the magical world of fairy tales with thrilling characters that have come to life. Another splendid read for young readers! I can hardly wait for a new book, Princess Madeline and the Dragon. " ~ 5 Star Review, Mrs. D., Amazon
Book 3: "The story is engaging on many levels, as is Pulioff's writing, but on this occasion I was mostly drawn into the action and the mystery as how to prevent the worst from happening. This is great entertainment and should do well across a wider age range." ~ 5 Star Review,ChristophFischerBooks, Amazon
Book 3: "Kirstin Pulioff has saved the best for last. 'Princess Madeline and the Dragon' is the final instalment in the 'Princess Madeline Trilogy'. I thought the first two books were finely wrought stories, but this novel surpasses its predecessors. Prophesies, family tragedies, magic and - of course - dragons, combine to produce a tale that is an instant classic. Written with a great deal of charm, 'Princess Madeline and the Dragon' will not disappoint Ms Pulioff's young fans. I look forward to seeing where next her imagination will take this natural storyteller. " ~ 5 Star Review, Diogenes, Amazon
