My Review

I knew that the My Little Bible By Diane Le Feyer was going to be small, but I was surprised by how small. It is the perfect size for a young child as they could hold it in their little hands. I found that the book did a good job with simplifying most of the bible stories, however their were a few that could have done better. Those few lacked the context needed to understand the importance of the story. Sampson and Delilah talks about how Sampson's strength comes from his hair so Delilah cut his hair while he slept and then his enemies captured him. The story lacks the context needed for a child to understand why this is a bible story. However I feel that this book would still be a great book for a young child if they had a parent who knows enough about the bible to offer further explanations if needed. I was sent a copy of this book for free for only my honest and unbiased review of this book.
