Lizzy the Lioness By Lisa Bevere  was a wonderful children's story that teaches young children the value of asking for and accepting help. I loved that this book taught this lesson while I also having cute characters with cute pictures. The lesson is important, but it does not take over the story instead children learn the lesson alongside Lizzy.

My Review

Her Final Watch was a well written that was easy to enjoy. I loved the mob aspects of the story along with the strong female lead character Lily. This is the first time I have seen a mob plot line with a strong female for the main character. I have to say that I really enjoyed the combination of both put together. Lily was an easy character to like as she had a strong sense of right and wrong, a high level of intelligence, and compassion.

My Review

I was very excited to read Christmas in Icicle Falls as Sheila Roberts is my mother's favorite author and I loved the chance to read her new book and the opportunity to then offer it to my mother to read. I found the book very much got me in the Christmas mood and now I am just disappointed that I am way to early for others to be in the same spirit. The book had beautiful imagery and language that kept me hooked on every word. I loved the characters and how wonderful the story itself was. I felt like I too learned a valuable lesson from the book.

My Review

The Rehabilitation of Master Dillon was an interesting book to read. IT was an entirely new concept to me as it was my first book with dom/sub elements so clearly displayed. The closest I have come to reading something similar were the werewolf romance novels I have read in the past. I enjoyed the way this book took me to a new place and how everything was clearly explained.

My Review

Dead Cold by Jennifer Chase was a well-written book that I greatly enjoy reading. I found the serial killer plot line to be very interesting especially with the protagonist being a vigilante detective. Emily Stone was the perfect character to fill this role and I loved how the author made her feel like a real person instead of just a one dimensional character. I found the ending to be rather surprising, but it worked perfectly for the book.

I liked the fact that it did not use jargon and that it was perfectly written for a novice.
