My Review
Chasing Hindy was a well written fast pace novel about a woman who believes she found her dream only to be used, betrayed, and faced with being on the run. However Hindy does not give up instead she sets out to untangle the web, clear her name, and take back her dream. I really enjoyed reading Chasing Hindy. In fact I enjoyed it so much that I finished it in just two days. Hindy was my favorite character by far. I enjoyed reading about how she was developing as a character and how she dealt with the mystery. Overall I would recommend this book to anyone who love a good mystery with some suspense thrown in.

The Dumpling Galaxy Cookbook

Image result for The Dumpling Galaxy CookbookThe Dumpling Galaxy Cookbook is quite the galaxy of dumplings. I loves how the book kept playing to the galaxy theme with the stars and planets of dumplings. The Dumpling 101 page was beyond helpful with how it actually taught be new techniques that were helpful. The recipes were all interesting and looked very yummy. The only odd thing was that the dessert dumplings did not seem like actual desserts to me at all.

My Review
A HIGHLAND RUBY by Brenda B. Taylor was a well written romance that featured Flora Vass and Gavin Munro. I have to say that I really enjoyed the story as well as the romance and tension between the two of them. Having the two be apart for so long and yet still having that spark was a perfect part of the romance between them. It struck me as a real true love sort of story. The author did an amazing job in developing both Flora Vass and Gavin Munro as individuals and as a couple. I really enjoyed the book and found the adult content to be tastefully written!

The Dog Who Was There By Ron Marasco

Book Description

No one expected Barley to have an encounter with the Messiah. He was homeless, hungry, and struggling to survive in first century Jerusalem. Most surprisingly, he was a dog. But through Barley’s eyes, the story of a teacher from Galilee comes alive in a way we’ve never experienced before.
Barley’s story begins in the home of a compassionate woodcarver and his wife who find Barley as an abandoned, nearly-drowned pup. Tales of a special teacher from Galilee are reaching their tiny village, but when life suddenly changes again for Barley, he carries the lessons of forgiveness and love out of the woodcarver’s home and through the dangerous roads of Roman occupied Judea.
On the outskirts of Jerusalem, Barley meets a homeless man and petty criminal named Samid. Together, Barley and his unlikely new master experience fresh struggles and new revelations. Soon Barley is swept up into the current of history, culminating in an unforgettable encounter with the truest master of all as he bears witness to the greatest story ever told.

My Review
The Dog Who Was There By Ron Marasco  was an interesting book on a time of history and religion that was done from the unique perspective of a dog. Having a dog be an important part of such a pivotal event in history and religion was a different take on a normally human perspective and main role.

Scion of Sin (A Dark Fantasy Adventure Series) by C.H. Norwood

Scion of Sin (A Dark Fantasy Adventure Series) by C.H. Norwood is a dark fiction, fantasy, epic, adventure book. Scion of Sin (A Dark Fantasy Adventure Series) by C.H. Norwood is a book that will appeal most to an audience made up of a mix of young adults and adults who enjoy a fast paced adventure book that is sure to keep them on the edge of their seat and leave them wanting more by the end. Scion of Sin (A Dark Fantasy Adventure Series) by C.H. Norwood follows Krylan Starguard a Silosian and the first Silosian to ever have red hair and red eyes. Krylan Starguard’s red hair and red eyes is what labels him as a pariah to his people. Yet it is also the very thing that makes him into the person he will become as he fights to overcome his physical appearance by proving himself through a quest.

Scion of Sin (A Dark Fantasy Adventure Series) by C.H. Norwood reminded me of the Game of Thrones series with how there is so much deceit, death, and the occasional risk to ones sanity. The overall feel of the book drew me from the very first page and wrapped by uptight between its pages as I was pulled in deeper and deeper into the story of Krylan Starguard. Krylan Starguard quickly became my favorite character and not only because he was the main character, but because of his personality. I loved how he was willing to fight to prove himself and to understand his power in order to became the person he was meant to be.
