Cat Crimes and Wannabes (6th Grade Revengers Book 1) by Steven Whibley

Cat Crimes and Wannabes (6th Grade Revengers Book 1) by Steven Whibley is an 88 page long children’s book. Cat Crimes and Wannabes (6th Grade Revengers Book 1) by Steven Whibley is a book that will appeal most to children aged six through twelve. Cat Crimes and Wannabes (6th Grade Revengers Book 1) by Steven Whibley follows eleven year old boys Jared and Marcus who call themselves the Revengers; together they work to fill their spy camp fund by fixing the problems of others for profit. There first missions are Jared’s older sister’s boyfriend (who is a bit of a jerk) and a monster cat that is terrifying the neighborhood.

There are two new fixers in town and their names are Jared and Marcus together they can fix or solve any problem! Cat Crimes and Wannabes (6th Grade Revengers Book 1) by Steven Whibley begins with Jared pretending to kill the boogeyman hiding in his younger sister’s closet this one heroic action leads to the creation of the Revengers. I really liked how the book began with such a simple and yet heartfelt act of sibling love. I liked the fact that Cat Crimes and Wannabes (6th Grade Revengers Book 1) by Steven Whibley had some illustrations in it as children often prefer books that have some pictures in them; the first picture in the book is a sketch of Jared brainstorming and coming up with the idea of the Revengers. Cat Crimes and Wannabes (6th Grade Revengers Book 1) by Steven Whibley was well written and had a simple plot that would pull children in without confusing them. I liked the fact that Steven Whibley kept all the words and concepts age appropriate.
