Poitevin begins with a prologue that is on Emmanuelle and Mika'el; specifically
Emmanuelle’s decision to leave and Mika'el’s decision to stay. From there Sins
of the Warrior (The Grigori Legacy Book 4) by Linda Poitevin jumps straight into
the story plunging the reader right into the story with Alexandra Jarvis, Seth,
the Naphil, and the other characters.
Sins of the Warrior (The Grigori Legacy Book 4) by Linda
Poitevin remind me a bit of a mix of the TV show Supernatural and a cop show
like Blue Bloods or NCIS. One of the main characters Alexandra Jarvis is a
homicide detective while others are angles and demons. I did find the book a
little confusing at first because I had not read books one, two, and three, but
I quickly got a good grasp of the story and then some of the confusion began to fade. I
personally would recommend that all readers read the previous books in the Grigori
Legacy series first. That said Sins of the Warrior (The Grigori Legacy Book 4)
by Linda Poitevin was a well written book with a stead plot line, chapter
cliffhangers, well devolved characters, dialogue that flowed smoothly, and good
attention to detail.
