Navy One by Pedro Vasquez

Navy One by Pedro Vasquez is an action adventure fiction novel with a unique take on a terrorist attack at sea. Navy One by Pedro Vasquez follows President Margaret Benson as she and her family plan to take a trip on a US navy ship to California. This all changes when the ship is hijacked by terrorists who quickly take out the crew and the secret service agents. President Margaret Benson is left to try and stop World War three with limited help from the outside, her own husband held captive by the terrorists, and her unreliable son for help.

WOW! The first thing that came to mind as I read this book was that President Margaret Benson was like a female Jack Bauer, with less gore involved. Right from the very beginning Navy One by Pedro Vasquez starts off with a bang and keeps moving at a fast pace for the entire book. I have to say that I finished reading Navy One by Pedro Vasquez in one sitting as I could not make myself put it down. I loved the fact that Pedro Vasquez has the main character not only be the President of the United Stated, but a female President as well. President Margaret Benson is no stay at home Mom instead she is a woman who is strong and willing to take risks to save her country. I sincerely hope that Pedro Vasquez decides to write a sequel to Navy One as I would love to read more!
