Maura is left mostly only as she is forbidden to see her friends, her parents remain distant, her cousin wants her dead, and parts of her family have been ordered by their king to not ever initiate contact with his daughter Maura.

Move over Twilight, Supernatural, and Bitten and make room for Riptide Betrayal of Blood (The Maura DeLuca Trilogy Book 3) by Claudette Melanson. Riptide Betrayal of Blood (The Maura DeLuca Trilogy Book 3) by Claudette Melanson is a book that holds an entirely new and different world within its pages this world has all sorts of supernatural creatures ranging from vampires to fae, to angels, to elves, all the way to pixies. I have never read as book that ad this many different supernatural creatures inside it that gives detail to each race without taking away from the book itself. My only regret is that I read Riptide Betrayal of Blood (The Maura DeLuca Trilogy Book 3) by Claudette Melanson without reading books one and two frist this left me a bit confused on some of the plot points and character interaction.
